In Testing Services Division
Wipro is inviting Fresh Engineers from 2005 batch who have undergone a
minimum of 3 - 6 months of Training on Software Testing using Test
Automation Tools / Scripting Languages, Manual Testing and are having good
understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle.
This Program is an off-campus initiative for hiring fresh graduates. Candidates selected from
this exercise will be working in the area of Telecom, Embedded, Banking &
Enterprise Software Testing.
Job Details:
You will be working in the area of Independent Product Verification &
Validation shoulder to shoulder along with the software development team
and will be involved in Designing & execution of Test case using Test
Automation Tools / Scripting languages & Manual Testing.
Some of the major areas where you will be engaged can be:
* Storage Area Networks / DSP / RTOS / Embedded Product & Application Testing
* Telecom /Wireless / Broadband / Data com /Voice & Next Gen Networks : Application & Protocol Testing
* Telecom Service Provider Application Testing Enterprise & Banking Software Application Testing.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Fulltime Graduates from class of 2005 only
a) BE / BTech/ MCA (Computer Science/ Electronics / Telecommunications / EEE / Information Technology).
2. An aggregate of 65 %. In Engineering / MCA (Aggregate calculation is: -
Total marks obtained in all semesters divided by Maximum marks).
Please note: - An aggregate of 64.5 will not be considered as equal to 65 %.
3. Candidate must have a minimum of 60% aggregate in 10th and 12th.
4. Candidate must have a completed a training 3-6 months on
Software Testing / Test Automation tools / Scripting Lanuages like TCL/TK, Shell Scripts / exposure to C/ Linux & Unix
5. Short listed candidates must be ready to join Wipro immediately

Selection Process:
The exercise starts with a written test (Objective type) covering
Verbal, Analytical and Technical sections.
The technical section will cover questions on computer fundamentals, basics of fundamental languages.
On clearing the test, candidates will attend a Technical and an HR interview.
The selection process will be held in Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad & Chennai.
Selected candidates will be asked to join IMMEDIATELY.
