The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, a Deemed University is under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Applications are invited from Indian Citizens (SC/OBC categories) for the posts of Lecturers in the discipline(s): 1. Computer Sc. & Engg. 2. Electronics & Commn. Engg. 3. Electrical Engg. 4. Mechanical Engg. 5. Mathematics (Statistics) (including those for appointment on lien/contract basis) upto September 28, 2006. Pay scales : Rs.8000-275-13500/- and other benefits as applicable to NERIST employees. EQ & Experience : The essential qualification and experience criteria, will be as per the AICTE norms and guidelines as applicable to degree level institutions. [Minimum Qualification for Engineering Departments is First Class Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology; OR First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology. Minimum qualification for Humanities and Sciences is Good academic record with at least 55% marks or, an equivalent CGPA at the Master’s level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University; or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates for Humanities and Sciences should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC] Last Date for receipt of completed application in prescribed format is September 28, 2006.
