We have a critical requirement in the Network Planning area & need your support to hire the best talent available for the same.

Pls find herewith the Job Description of the open positions in Network Planning. This assignment involves Onsite opportunity & the work location: Gurgaon.

Candidates with 3-7yrs of prior relevant exposure in the following skills:

ATM Planner:

¨ ATM technology and architecture knowledge
¨ Fully aware of different recommendations e.g. ITU, 3G PP etc.
¨ At least 2 to 3 years of ATM transport network dimensioning, detailed design, route optimizing experience in GSM or non-GSM network.
¨ Good knowledge of ATM equipments from different vendors.
¨ Network & path redundancy design experience.
¨ ATM network data debugging, different layer message understanding and fault finding experience

Circuit Core Network Planner:

¨ 2G/3G NSS ( MSC/HLR/MSS/MGW) with troubleshooting experience .
¨ NSS parameter/datafill/source data creation, and optimisation experience
¨ NSS Network dimensioning/high level design
¨ Knowledge of SS7 Signalling/SIGTRAN, ISUP/MAP/CAP/INAP protocols
¨ Network Performance Measurement and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) know how
¨ Technical document writing and presentation skills
¨ Ability to work in customer Interface, good communication skills
¨ Flexibility to travel in the region on short term and long term projects
¨ Engineering Degree in Telecom
¨ Knowledge of basic IP, IP addressing

Packet Core Network Planner:

¨ 2.5G/3G GPRS/EDGE (SGSN/GGSN/BG/FW) with troubleshooting experience .
¨ 2.5G/3G SGSN/GGSN parameter/databuilds/source data creation, and optimisation experience
¨ Packet Core Network dimensioning/high level design
¨ Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
¨ Advanced knowledge of IP address allocation and IP address planning for the telecom network
¨ Knowledge of 2.5G/3G Packet Core Interfaces (eg. Iu/Gb/Gn/Gi interfaces)
¨ Understanding of IP QoS requirements, Voice over IP, IP over ATM
¨ Basic knowledge of SS7 Signalling/SIGTRAN/SCTP protocols
¨ Packet Core Network Performance Measurement and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) know how
¨ Technical document writing and presentation skills
¨ Ability to work in customer Interface, good communication skills
¨ Flexibility to travel in the region on short term and long term projects
¨ Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Telecom, knowledge of Basic Programming Languages

IP Planner:

¨ IP technology and architecture advanced knowledge with proven field experience
¨ Fully aware of different recommendations e.g. ITU, 3G PP etc.
¨ At least 2 years of IP Backbone/transport network, detailed design experience in GSM or non-GSM network
¨ Excellent knowledge of Cisco equipments (Routers, PIX Firewalls, Border gateways) and their architecture/functioning
¨ Good knowledge of OSS interfaces
¨ Good knowledge of GPRS/EDGE/UMTS (2.5G/3G) Packet core equipment and connectivity with Cisco equipment, Cisco Certification preferred
¨ IP Network redundancy design experience
¨ IP Backbone network data debugging, different layer message understanding and fault finding experience
¨ Technical document writing and presentation skills
¨ Ability to work in customer Interface, good communication skills
¨ Flexibility to travel in the region on short term and long term projects
