NESAC invites eligible candidates to attend “Walk-in-Interview” for the following posts of Fellowship at NESAC, Umiam on 22.06.2012 (Friday) at 10.00 AM.
Junior Research Fellow
No of post: 03 (Three)
Essential Qualifications: 1st Class B.E (Civil/Agrl Engg) / M.Sc (Geography/Geology/Environmental Science) / M.Tech (RS & GIS), BE/M.Sc/ Degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent
M.Tech or its equivalent degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent
Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of RS&GIS software and packages.
Remarks: Not more than 30 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxations to SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be admissible as per rules.
The posts are purely contractual and is for a period of 1 (one) year or co-terminus with the project without any provision for regularization.
Fellowship amount: Rs. 18,000/- for M.Tech and `16,000/- for others. In addition HRA and medical benefits will be allowed as per rules.
No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing for the interview. Director, NESAC reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview without any reason thereof.
Candidates are required to bring all relevant documents, certificates and mark sheets in original with an application with full bio-data addressed to the
Director, NESAC, Umiam.
A passport size photograph may also be affixed on the top of the application enclosing photocopies of certificates and mark sheets from Matriculation/HSLC onwards duly attested. Candidates are required to send a bio-data in advance to the email id [email protected]
