Innocence?
Jayanta Oinam *
Innocence, they called so
And he seeks the rime in the frosty nights
May be the chilled bones are gung ho;
Enough for a hungry life
That cherishes the untamed tranquility!
Once in a while,
The hungry soul veiled the cruse
But the subsequent moments were contentious;
Every prejudice and all the favours,
Should we still call it innocence?
