India hopes Myanmar act against North Eastern rebels

Union Home secretary R.K. Singh Friday exuded confidence that Myanmar would act against Indian rebels operating in that country.
“In the aftermath of our prime minister’s visit to Myanmar, we are confident that they will act against the Indian rebels operating from inside that country,” he told journalists after chairing a board meeting of the North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA) here.
