Immortal Gallows
Moirangthem Minakshi Devi *
The knot of the noose feels a bit too tight.
Seems all what I faced was worth the fight.
My soul shall be laden, blood oozing out of folds.
With every passing second, breath difficult to hold.
I'd not have succumbed to the wrath of my deed.
Know that for sure, dear kin and my creed.
I'd have followed my sanity, walked straight through hell.
Tiptoeing into nothingness, the path no one shall tell.
So as soon as my feet stop frolicking around
And this deafening silence echoes with my sound.
Fret not my friend,I shall never be gone.
Although far from your sight, but my heart shall live on.
