Hospitals with no incinerators face ban in Manipur
Nagaland Post | Imphal, Jan 13
Healthcare clinics and hospitals in Manipur having no incinerators, which are necessary to dispose bio-medical wastes, may be banned. To this, Manipur pollution control board (MPCB) has given three months to both private and government run- hospitals for installation of incinerators.
An official source said that except RIMS hospital, Thoubal District hospital and Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, no other hospitals and clinics including state runs JNIMS hospital have incinerators
