Gall bladder cancer affects more women than men in NE

A recent study has found that gall bladder cancer is affecting more women than men in the northeast.
As per the Population Based Cancer Registry (PBCR), in the state, Kamrup (Metro) has the highest incidence of gall bladder cancer. Around 14 per cent women are suffering from this fatal disease against 7.4 per cent men in the district.
