Floods wash away 25 houses in Manipur's Jiribam, five drown

At least 25 houses at Kamranga village in Jiribam subdivision of Manipur's East Imphal district were washed away on Thursday morning by the flood water of Jiri River.
Sources said the water of Jiri River, a tributary of Barak, submerged vast areas of Kamranga and Kalinagar villages by breaching its dyke in a number of places
