Five Myanmar nationals held in Manipur

Troops of Assam Rifles detained five Myanmar nationals entering Manipur territory without valid documents and handed over to the Tengnoupal police of Chandel district on Friday, an official source said Saturday.
Ngamlen (19), Lamkhangmang (32), Dongsei (23), Mangkhanthang (29) and Ningjalen (19), all residents of Khumounom in Tamu district of Myanmar were detained by the troops of 24 Assam Rifles at its mobile check post opened at Tengnoupal along the Imphal-Moreh section of NH-39 yesterday afternoon, around 3 pm and handed over to Tengnoupal police station, the source said.
