The first leg of North-East Brothers' Tapta 'chahi taret khunthakpa' was a huge success with many Tapta Fans showing up at wapokpi concert. Fans almost jammed the entry point. The local organiser had a hard time managing the people who thronged the venue to get a glimpse of Loukhrakpam Jayanta, the fore runner of Tapta Band.
The locals were happy to see him for the first time and all of them sang together each and every number tapta presented the crowd. Bishwaroop, a resident of wapokpi sang along with Jayanta.
The second leg will be at kalaikandi and huge crowd are expected as well. For third leg tapta band will leave for aizawl, Mizoram. The show will be at Vanappa hall and start at 11am. The team is expected to reach Aizawl by 12th April morning.
With the overwhelming response from Wapokpi, we are expecting the same from Karaikandi, Aizawl and Shillong. The respect shown to our only fusion singer of Manipur Mr. Jayanta Loukhrakpam by the Fans at Wapokpi was expected but really touched and we feel like coming back again and again.
We are also expecting Tapta Fans who are residing at Aizawl and Shillong to show same love, support and respect to our famous singer Mr. Jayanta Loukhrakpam.
