Extra-judicial killings: Civic bodies want case in Gauhati high court

Various civil bodies of the state have decided to request the petitioner in the case of the extra-judicial killings of three Manipuri youths to file a petition in the Gauhati high court after the Manipur HC dismissed the same filed in Nagaland.
Soldiers from the 3 Corps Intelligence and Surveillance Unit had picked up the three youths from Dimapur on March 10, 2010, and their bullet-riddled bodies were found on March 17 at Assam's Lakhijan area , said the petition filed by Naobi's brother.
