Enact law against 'racial attack': Naga Hoho
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Oct 19 (NPN):
The hoho citing Northeast students and BPO professionals residing in Sikanderpur and adjoining colonys/villages alleged that the local residents were prepared to “hunt and chase out” the Northeast communities from their areas.
Pointing out this amounts to racial discrimination and totally against the lofty slogan of “unity in diversity” often used by mainstream Indian NGOs, political parties, intellectuals etc., the Naga Hoho said certain “resolution” adopted by panchayats and various local bodies in and around the National Capital Region (NCR) displayed the lackadaisical attempt of the Indian government as well as the law enforcing agencies in making effort to “embrace us” in their localities.
