Drowned
Shahnaz Islam *
me, I'm drowning
Drowning to the bottom
Down and deeper....
Like an anchor
Come you better hold me now by the shore
the store once celebrated our life merrily.
Strings are not attached between us.
I know..
Ah! Pain or pearls found in the sea-bed
those are priceless.
Some lost to the waves
Some to the rays of sun
All remembered is
When thread torn apart
Those pearls dancing on the floor
Smell of dried stain of blood and lost love
Yesterday was he
Today a corpse
Tomorrow will be no tomorrow
She is drowned, and found ever!
