Nagaland Post | NPN | Imphal, Jun 25
Union Ministry of Development of North-Eastern Region (DoNER) has asked Manipur government to submit the latest information on the progress of projects under Prime Minister’s package awarded to the state, an official source said Monday.
In Manipur, a total of 38 projects are being implemented with the funds received from the Centre under the Prime Minister’s package announced during his visit to the state in 2004 and 2006. Out of these 38 projects, Manipur government has so far able to complete only 11 projects, while two have been closed, thereby leaving 25 projects to complete as per information provided by each department in a review meeting held on April 12 last.
