DoNER ropes in NESAC to monitor schemes in NE

The Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) has roped in the North Eastern Space Application Centre (NESAC) to furnish satellite shots to keep tabs on progress of project works in the region.
The first phase of the Project, Space-Based Information Kiosk on NER (SBIK) was inaugurated by DoNER Minister Paban Singh Ghatowar which was developed by NESAC under the Department of Space here yesterday.
The SBIK has been conceptualised by NESAC to showcase the strength of existing geo-spatial inputs of NER for natural resources management and other various development and planning works in the region, said Director NESAC, Dr S Sudhakar.
