Dance of Fire Flies at Autumn
Parthajit Borah *
Flickering mist of the moonlit unrests
at the bounteous courtyard of autumn.
A group of fireflies spewed the glue
of love to web the nature for
a creek of joy.
The water of the blue brook twirled
for a while to bag the luggage
of hopes for heavenly bliss.
Mind was quenched to feel
the autumnal aroma for a cosy slumber.
The final colour drop of the painter's
brush captured the luscious
dance of the fireflies in the
womb of the autumn.
Plump deer of the waterhole
smeared the stream with expansive
love to braid a blue robe.
I drench my soul in this autumnal joy
to erase the spoiled picture of my heart.
