'Court Arrest Programme' on Teachers' Day
Date - 5th September 2017
General Appeal
This is a general appeal to all members of the teaching community of Manipur University that the Manipur University Teachers’ Association (MUTA) strongly supports the Nation-wide Movement of “Court Arrest Programme” on the day of Teachers’ Day Celebration to protest against the apathetic attitude of Central Govt. towards our justified demands by FEDCUTA and AIFUCTO on the 5th September 2017 at Jantra-Mantra in Delhi.
The MUTA had already expressed our solidarity to the movement by observing “Black Day” on the 22nd August 2017.
In continuation of our journey towards the standing goal, I on behalf of the MUTA humbly appeal to all the members for your co-operation and solidarity by abstaining from the Nation-wide observation of Teachers’ Day celebration on the 5th September 2017.
I would like to request all the respected Heads of the Department of the University kindly to acknowledge and share the information to all departmental colleagues.
Yours sincerely
Dr. L. Bishwanath Sharma
General Secretary
MUTA
