Conflicts of a Mind and Heart
Ronald Keisham *
Love! Had I not pass by it long ago?
Or is it a turn back to the point, I left!
Can it really be counted by numbers?
Or just a feeling that comes deep down!
Isn’t not jealousy the beget of love?
Or be the sweet memoir that’s haunting dawn till dusk!
Is it to hail someone so high above?
Or the cherish moment holding on to someone so dear!
Shouldn’t a love of one so dear be called, true love?
Hadn’t she felt the same as though!
Shouldn’t I make her cry fulfilled with tears of happiness?
Or make her laugh, the laughter of discontent!
Isn’t sacrifice the true face of love?
Or is it to cast ones destiny of being bonded for eternity!
Shouldn’t I wait for the face making me reluctantly alive?
Or stand for the one, making me realise my true self!
Still I search, still await with content, seeking the true meaning;
Never loosing hope, For one day it will shine, , even eclipse has its limits!
