Likmabam Sushila Devi has clinched a gold medal for India as Moirangthem Bindyashori and Takhellambam Inunganbi settled for a silver and a bronze medals respectively at the Commonwealth Judo Championship 2019 being organised by British Judo Association at WALSAL, Birmingham, England since September 25 .
Likmabam Sushila, daughter of L Manihar Singh of Heingang, finished first in the senior women's 48 kg event to win the gold medal for India while Moirangthem Bindyashori, born to M Dilachand Singh of Thanga Khunjem Leikai went down in the junior women's 48 kg final bout to win the silver medal.
Takhellambam Inunganbi, on the other hand finished third in the 63 kg junior women's category to add a bronze medal to India's tally.
Inunganbi is the daughter of T Nabakumar of Tiger Camp, Sagolmang, Imphal East.
Manipur's pre cadet judokans, M Roshibina (44 kg), I Kalpana (63 kg), H Rishikanta (45 kg) and cadet judokan H Keshorjit (50 kg) are also representing India at the Championship which will conclude on September 30 .
