TODAY -
Cindy in the midst of Autumn's wind
Herojit Philem *
Autumn's wind winds in my heart
Though spring's fruit yet to taste
Zeal filled leave and life trunk depart
That falls hither- thither on the lawn;
As natural lamp wheels, it becomes a waste
Still this stands barren with no new dawn.
When fallen turned brown and mingled with mud
Cindy, a flower of green and white attires
Blossomed gracefully in cardiac backyard.
I'm not able to fulfil my desires
Even after the sun has lighten every bud.
I haven't drained sorry memories from my farmyard
So, how can I let you grow
In a garden where love lights never glow.
