Child beggar population in the Imphal market area is alarmingly on the rise since the past few months. As such, street vendors of the market have urged the concerned authority to take immediate intervention in the matter and solve the problem.
Speaking to media persons today at Manipur Press Club, Imphal, N. Bina, secretary of Khwairamband Keithelgi Mataida Potpham Phambi Lup told that many children between the age group 7-15 often in the disguise of being orphans come to the vendors sitting in the market area...
