Centre's call to strengthen premier hospital
Seven Sisters Post | David Mayum | Imphal (July 30):
Joint secretary of the Union ministry of health and family welfare Ms Shakuntala Gamlin has underlined the need to erect a boundary wall of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal to ward off encroachers and anti-social elements.
Shakuntala also called for a master plan for construction of high rise buildings which would last longer. Ms Gamlin was interacting with Prof S Sekharjit, director, RIMS and other high officials on Sunday evening in course of her visit to Imphal.
