Can achieve integration only if united: Rio
Nagaland Post | Kohima, Dec 15 (NPN) |
Addressing the golden jubilee celebration of Mao Union Kohima at AG colony Kohima, Rio lamented that Nagas today were divided. He said if Nagas are to protect their identity, one should do away with personal and tribal interests. This will also usher in overall development and peace, he added.
Rio lauded pioneers and leaders of the Mao community for their policies and guiding the community to live in harmony, integrity and to coexist with people in Nagaland and Kohima town in particular. He called upon the people to work for unity and integration of Nagas, wherever they are and also urged upon the Tenyimi people in Manipur, Nagaland and Assam to play crucial roles in this.
