An Invitation!
We are pleased to announce a Call for edited volume (2020) for a book tentatively theme “IMPACTS OF COVID-19 ON AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AND FOOD SYSTEMS IN NORTHEASTERN, INDIA (2020-21)” to be published by renowned publication house having ISBN.
We welcome empirical papers (qualitative or quantitative), original research papers, theoretical discussions, comparative analyses, critical review articles, scientific reports and in-depth case studies with special reference to North Eastern, India. This timely and scholarly volume in the time of pandemic outbreak of Covid-19, aims to bring together contributions in the form of chapters from university administrators, leading researchers, academics, government officials, civil societies in the domain of interest from around the globe.
We solicit your contribution in any of the above mentioned categories “IMPACTS OF COVID-19 ON AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AND FOOD SYSTEMS AND ON PROGRESS TO THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN NORTHEASTERN, INDIA (2020-21)” for publication in the first volume. Please follow the guidelines for submission of papers given under. Normally, an author is an individual judged to have made a substantial intellectual or practical contribution to a publication and who agrees to be accountable for that contribution.
Guidelines:
1. Manuscripts can be submitted as earliest as possible for our current ongoing book on above given topics.
2. The chapter’s length should be of 10-20 pages in single space and please refrain from any kind of unauthorised tables (please cite sources/references as possible), graphs, figures or any pictures/photographic images.
3. The chapter may be an individual submission or a co-authored submission
4. There is no publishing and handling charges for suitable and selected papers. Please avoid unwanted formatting and do maintain the references and text strictly as per instructions.
5. Use single MS-Word file for one manuscript. No separate cover letter is required.
6. Each chapter will be followed as “Double-blind peer review guidelines” to ensure the quality of the volume.
7. Please give full addresses (with city and country), affiliations, and email in each paper.
8. Corresponding authors must write his/her postal address & email address in each paper.
9. The authors are required to send a short biographical sketch (less than 120 words) about themselves.

By November, 2020, potential authors will be notified about the status of their proposed chapters. When accepted, the authors will receive further information regarding the submission process, including the formatting guidelines.
PLEASE NOTE: The Editorial Team reserves the right to accept or reject Chapter Proposals. Acceptance of a Chapter Proposal does not guarantee acceptance of the draft or final chapter.
Anticipated Keys Dates:
1. Earliest date for first submissions: September, 2020
2. Final Date for First Submissions: 10, October, 2020
3. Date of Final Decisions: 10 November, 2020, with letter of acceptance, correction of manuscripts, and any further improvement or rejections.
4. Expected Publication date for the Overview: July-December, 2020.

Editor Profiles:
Dr Senjam Jinus S, presently working as assistant professor at FEEDS Group of Institute, College of Horticulture & AgriBiotechnology, Hengbung, Manipur. He holds a MSc. in Vegetable Breeding (ICAR nominee) at the CSA University of Agri. & Tech., Kanpur and PhD on “Heterotic response study and genetic aspect of solanum species breeding” at the CCS Haryana Agricultural University.
He has an excellent experiance of more than two years in the field of teaching in Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Utlou, and as a teacher, he has taught more than 10 different cources to the student of undergraduate and postgraduate classes, and also delivered several lectures at farmer training programme related to horticultural sciences.
He has been awarded the second poster award in National Symposium held at CSA Univ. of Agri & Tech., Kanpur. He has presented e-poster at International conference on traditional & alternative medicine held in Birmingham, West Midlands, England. So far, 20 papers have been published, authored five book chapters, one in CRC Press, Taylor & Francis and recently edited two books.
His research area focused on Abiotic stress study in horticultural crops, aquaponic and hydroponic vegetable farming with the aims of increasing productivity, nutritional quality and profitability while reducing environmental impacts.
