Bomb blasts rock border town in Manipur

Two powerful bomb blasts rocked Manipur’s border town of Moreh on Saturday night. There was no casualty, official reports said. The first blast took place near Moreh police station, around 9.30 pm while the second bomb went off near a house at Gamnomveng in the wee hour of Sunday, around 12.30 a.m.
The blasts were at a time while residents of the town located at the Indo-Myanmar border were protesting against a recent blast. An IED suspected to have been planted by militants went off at Moreh ground on Wednesday (May 17) night, around 7.10pm.
