Birds at Dusk
K. Radhakumar *
A boy flies a kite in the afternoon sky.
An old man looks at the boy and his kite
And wonders what aerial reconnaissance is done.
Dusk descends quickly
Like a kite from nowhere.
The man in his twilight years leaves for home;
Street lights are seen
And a new beauty is born.
