Bengal CM to campaign in Imphal
The Telegraph | Imphal, Jan. 1:
Bengal chief minister and Trinamul Congress leader Mamata Banerjee will visit Imphal next week to campaign for the party, which is fighting alone in the upcoming Assembly elections.
A party source said Banerjee was requested to campaign for party candidates and she agreed to come, along with Union minister Mukul Roy and the party’s Northeast in-charge D.K. Singh.
The Trinamul is a new party in Manipur and has one MLA.
