Being Human
Angomcha Chingkhei Meitei *
I am a simple human,
I have no followers,
But many to pull my leg,
Many to laugh at.
When I speak, they call stupid,
When I write, they renounced idiot,
When I join them they feel crowded,
When I follow them, they can't lead.
I am here at road to partisan
Solemnised myself to do only the right,
Not all, but some will be able to ratify,
And let the rest find astounding.
I can't look too far ahead,
A beginning myself, before mingling in the crowd,
Let me handle only one at a time,
Because I am not a Mahatma.
