Beauty
Moirangthem Minakshi Devi *
My mind is a labyrinth of bazillion thoughts,
I am so hard to figure out.
I stare often in the mirror and admire the person,
Stand in who, before me , for hours and hours.
Sometimes I take fancy in hating the person
Whilst she confronts me for being shabby and unpolished.
True beauty lies inside the every heart, they say,
But we all know that's not entirely true , anyway.
I wonder what would it take for me
To stop comparing myself to every single person I see,
Though I yeam for 'beauty that lies in qualities and simplicity',
But, no mattss what the world says,
Beauty does lie veiled in everybody.
