Arrested rebels brought to Manipur
The Telegraph | Imphal, June 22:
The four cadres of the United Peoples Party of Kangleipak (UPPK), who were arrested by Indian security agencies from Kathmandu earlier this week, were brought to Imphal today.
A Manipur police team brought them here by air from Patna and the rebels are now being interrogated at Imphal police station.
The arrested cadres have been identified as Laishram Shanti Meitei alias Chinglemba, 45, a resident of Wahengbam Leikai here, Langpokpam Inaocha, 39, alias Birjit, second-in-command of Shanti, Laishram Jiten Singh, 34, a resident of Kaziranga area of Assam, and Elangbam Bobo, 34, alias Khangembaba, finance secretary of the group
