Handing Over Program at Churachandpur District

On the aegis of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) the Loktak Power Station, NHPC provided an ambulance each to District Administration Bishnupur and District Administration Churachandpur on 2nd July 2019. The ambulances have been provided to augment the health facilities of both the districts.

The handing over program, for Churachandpur (CCpur) District, was organized at DTC Hall, Tuibong, CCpur. Sh. Shyam Lal Punia, IAS, Deputy Commissioner hosted the program. Sh. Aloke Kumar Ghosh, Chief General Manager, Loktak Power Station was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Sh. Punia and Sh. Ghosh signed and exchanged the MoU.

On this occasion, Sh. Ghosh, CGM, Loktak Power Station highlighted various CSR activities of the NHPC. He said that NHPC is in the process of implementing some more CSR activities for the people of districts CCpur and Bishnupur.

Sh. Punia, DC, CCpur thanked NHPC for providing ambulance for people of CCpur. He said that this will be a great asset for the district which will be fully utilized for welfare of the needy people in utmost professional way. He added that NHPC is cooperating CCpur District Administration on many accounts through its CSR activities.

Addressing the gathering, Ms. Amrita Sinha, SP, CCpur appreciated the efforts of Loktak Power Station in the areas of social welfare through its CSR activities. On this occasion Dr. LP Singh, General Manager (Medical Services), NHPC; Sh. KT Rajah Pandian, General Manager, NHPC, Sh. Rajesh Kumar, Sr. Manager and other officers of NHPC and District Administration were present.

The handing over program for Bishnupur District, was organized at District Hospital, Bishnupur. The program was hosted by the Shri Pawan Yadav, IAS, DC, Bishnupur. MoU was signed and exchanged by Sh. Pawan Yadav and Shri Aloke Kumar Ghosh.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Aloke Kumar Ghosh, CGM, Loktak Power Station said that NHPC is always caring for local populace and doing a lot of CSR works to make sustainable growth of local community.

On this occasion, Shri Pawan Yadav, DC Bishnupur said that NHPC is doing a lot of CSR works which are beneficial to the local people. He added that the livelihood enhancement programs under CSR are very crucial and useful in enhancing the earnings of local youth. On this occasion Chief Medical Officer, Bishnupur, Medical Superintendent and staff of District Hospital, Bishnupur witnessed the event along with senior officials of NHPC.
