Alliance Air flights to Silchar, Imphal stop

Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India, will halt all ATR flights to Silchar, Guwahati and Imphal from tomorrow. It also used to ply a hopping flight for four days to Guwahati and three days to Imphal from here.
From now onwards, Air India will operate a flight for four days a week by an Airbus 320 aircraft between Calcutta and here. Before returning to Calcutta, it will also take a three-day-a-week hop into Imphal, a flight distance of only 20 minutes from here.
