Amom Binita d/o A. Esingchaoba Singh from Wangoo, Thoubal District died and four men who were travelling with her in an autorikshaw suffered injury in a road accident occurred at around 10 p.m. on 8th May, 2013 at RK Puram South Delhi. The four men are Francis (32), Mathew(28), James(27) and Rejoice(25), all from Sugnu. The Delhi Police has registered an FIR (No. 147/2013) under Indian Panel Code 1860, section 279/337/304A to this case and is searching for the escaped bus driver. MSAD confirmed that Binita was killed in a road accident.
According to eye witnesses, injured men and Police report, the Auto in which they were travelling was waiting for a road crossing signal behind a Tavera Truck, which was, suddenly hit by a speeding Tourist Bus and was severely crushed. The bus driver fled instantly. People over there immediately rushed to rescue those who were in the auto, including the auto driver. In anger they broke window panes of the bus and several over things in it. Binita was however confirmed brought death at around 10:30 pm by the doctor at AIIMS.
Binita was in Jammu for three months looking after her sister who has recently delivered a child. As she wished to return home, one Rojit a friend of her sister in a CRPF post in Jammu, made arrangement to travel together with one Francis, a native of Sugnu who is in a CRPF post in Srinagar. They left Jammu at around 10:00 pm on 7 May and reached Delhi at around 10:00 am on 8. After shopping and dinner at Munirka in South Delhi where Francis' cousin sister and brother were living together, Binita along with four friends of Francis were heading for New Delhi Railway Station. The accident happened on their way to the station.

Autopsy was conducted at the AIIMS Trauma Centre Mortuary and the result will we made available to the relatives in 20 days. This was informed to Binita's Brother-in-law, cousins, MSAD executives and an acquaintance that her liver was crushed and lungs was displaced which had caused excessive internal bleeding and resulting into death. No further tests were performed as she was registered under an accident case.
We have visited all the victims other than the auto driver. We have discovered that James Haokip(27), is severely injured on the Knees, left ankle, chest and waist; Mathew(28) on the right arm; Rejoice(25) on the waist, and Francis on the waist and some scratches over the body. Binita's death body was flown to Imphal by her Brother-in-Law at around 5:30 am.
