9th Convocation of Assam Don Bosco University to be held online
Date - 5th October, 2020
In its continuous endeavour, “to mould intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired person at the service of India and the world of today and tomorrow, by imparting holistic and personalized education.” Assam Don Bocso University is all set to hold the Ninth Convocation on 5th October, 2020 in virtual platform due to the pandemic.

Degrees will be conferred on 908 students of which 468 students will receive bachelor's degree in Engineering & Technology, arts and basic sciences and 440 students will receive master’s degree in various branches of engineering, science and management. Doctoral degrees will be conferred to 15 scholars.
In the DBU Global Online and Distance Education courses, 173 students will receive bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and diploma under various programs.
Gold Medals under various categories will be awarded to 28 outstanding graduates with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in each program.
The Chancellor’s medal for outstanding graduate in PG courses and the Vice Chancellor’s medal for outstanding graduate in UG courses for notable and exceptional contribution to campus life will also be awarded on the occasion.
Students from every nook and corner of Northeast as well as from the other states of India and from 40 other countries will be graduating from Assam Don Bosco University. They took admission as individuals from heterogeneous and diverse culture. But, after studying in ADBU in an inclusive, cordial and harmonious atmosphere, they will be moving out as dependable human beings in the service of society.
