With reference to the above mentioned subject I would like to inform you that Lions Club of Imphal Greater, Lions Clubs International, have been organizing the Inter Children Home Sports Meet for the last 4 years. The 5th Edition of the Inter Children Home Sports Meet will be held on 3-4 March, 2012

Inter Children Home Sports Meet is one of the innovative projects of Lions Club of Imphal Greater to bring out the Hidden Sporting Talents of the less privilege children staying at the various Children Homes of Manipur. The Sports Meet also aims to nurture sporting talents, motivate the children and also to serve as an exchange of ideas and thoughts amongst the children staying at different Children Homes in different part of Manipur.

In this 5th Edition of Inter Children Home Sports Meet we are expecting around 200 plus Children from different Children Homes of Manipur competing in Athletics, Kabaddi and Tug of War etc. Moreover there will be a cultural programme on 3rd March in the evening at Kangsang.

Participating Children in the above Competition will be provided transportations (actual), dress materials, fooding & accommodation during the Competition. A programme detail is enclosed for your kind perusal.

Inter Children Home Sports Festival 2012

Theme: To promote the sporting talents of the less privilege children staying at the different Children home of Manipur. Inter Children Home Sports Festival is one of the innovative projects of Lions Club of Imphal Greater to bring out the hidden Sporting Talents of the children staying at the various Children Homes of Manipur.

The Sports Festival also aims to nurture sporting talents, motivate the children and also to serve as an exchange of ideas and thoughts amongst the various children staying at different Children Homes in different Parts of Manipur. The largest sporting event of the different Children Homes of Manipur.

Venue: Khuman Lampak Main Stadium. The effort is to instill a sense of the sporting prowess of Manipur to these young Children.

Participants

Around 200 plus Children from different Children Homes from Manipur will compete in Athletics, Kabaddi and Tug of War etc.

1. 50 Mts - Boys and Girls under 12
2. 100 Mts - Boys/Girls under 15
3. 200 Mts
4. 100 x 4 Mts
5. Long Jump (all Groups)
6. Triple Jump (All Groups)
7. Shot Put (All Groups)
8. Kabaddi (Team Event- under 15 Boys and Girls)
9. Tug of War (Team Event- under 15 Boys and Girls)

01.00 pm : Arrival of the Children and registration at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex
06.00 pm : Cultural Programme from Different Children Home at Kangsang.
9:00 pm : Dinner at Kangsang

4th March, 2012

7.00 am : Gathering of Guests, Invitees, Lion members and Competitors at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium
7.15 am : Breakfast
7.30 am : Inaugural Ceremony
8.00 am : Comencement of the competition
1.00 pm : Lunch Break
2.00 pm : Release of Sovenier
2.15 pm : Continuation of the competition
4:00 pm : Prize Distribution and Closing Ceremony
