2nd IFMA Imphal National Muaythai Convention 2013 at Imphal

After the grand success of the 1st IFMA National Muaythai Convention 2012 held early this year at Imphal, 2nd IFMA National Muaythai Convention 2013 will be held from February 3 to 7, 2013 at Imphal, Manipur.
The "Imphal National Muaythai Convention" is an annual permanent project of Muaythai Federation of India (MFI) for the State of Manipur in which all the 28-MFI affiliated units from across the country are invited to take part. The "Event" is organized by MFI Pro-Muaythai Promotional Council under the aegis of International Federation of Muaythai Amateur, IFMA, world headquarters, Bangkok, Thailand and MFI.
During this 5-day IFMA Imphal National Muaythai Convention, 2nd IFMA-WMC India Muaythai Challenger Cup 2013 will also be organized. There will be 14 weight categories for Senior Male, Junior Male, Senior Female and Junior Female and Sub-Junior Divisions.
The upcoming 2nd IFMA National Muaythai Convention 2013 and 2nd IFMA-WMC India Muaythai Challenger Cup 2013 at Imphal is likely to draw over 300 participants from 28 States and 3 Union Territories where MFI has its afflicted Units. Over 100 officials from across the country are also expected to take part while National and International Sports personalities will grace the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
During this 2nd IFMA National Muaythai Convention 2013 and 2nd IFMA-WMC India Muaythai Challenger Cup 2013, there will also be several "Muaythai Programs" like Seminars and Camps. During this time, MFI leaders who have been sacrificing for the "promotion and development" of Muaythai in the country will be awarded "Highest Honor." "Awardees" of this "Highest Honor" will be screened by the MFI Award Screening Committee.
