Imphal, April 26: Demanding unconditional release of Brojen, Deban and Sachi from police custody, Wakat Meephams were staged in different parts of the State today.

Brojen, Deban and Sachi were arrested by security forces from Cheiraoching on the day the banned RPF/PLA observed its 'martyrs day' on April 13.At Kakwa Bazar, the protest demonstration was held under the joint aegis of Kakwa Laiphrakpam leikai Apunba Nupi Lup and Liwa Bokul Makhong Nupi Khunnai Meira Paibi Lup, at the ground of Young Pioneers Club, Changangei it was organised by Changangei Apunba Meira Paibi Lup, at Nambol Bazar under the aegis of Nambol Area Meira Paibi Apunba Lup and at Khurai Kongpal Thongkhong under the joint aegis of women bodies of Awang Kongpal, Sajor Leikai, Chingangbam leikai, Ningthoubung Leikai and Laishram Leikai, Tinsid Road.
