Sekmai CHIC to be set up at Sardar Patel HS

Imphal, May 31 2021: A Community Home Isolation Centre (CHIC) for Sekmai assembly constituency will be set up at Sardar Patel High School, Khurkhul, informed a statement issued by the PRO of Sekmai MLA Heikham Dingo on Monday.

According to the statement, the decision was made after considering the demands of various clubs and organisations, as well as the central location of the school.

The centre will become functional by June 4, it stated while informing local clubs to inform the MLA if they want to set up CHIC in their respective areas as per requirement.

Mentioning various initiatives like testing, provision of ration, face masks, sanitiser, face shield, pulse oximeter, etc., taken up under the aegis of the MLA, the statement informed that vaccination drive for the people of the AC is in progress in different PHCs.
