68th NSG Sepaktakraw : Manipur in U-17 girls' quarterfinals

Imphal, April 15 2025:
The 68th National School Games Sepaktakraw kicked off today at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium with 15 U-17 girls, 16 U-19 Boys and 15 U-17 Boys teams from across India participating in it.
Manipur U-17 girls opened their Group A pre-quarterfinal league campaign with a 15-3, 15-8 win over Gujarat to seal their place in the quarterfinals.
Manipur will play Nagaland, who defeated Gujarat 15-7, 13-15, 15-12 in another Group A match, in the group winners deciding match on April 17 .
In the Group B matches staged today, Uttar Pradesh defeated Rajasthan 15-8, 8-15, 15-4 for the first win before easing past Telangana 15-4, 15-3 to boost their quarterfinal chances.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra defeated Bihar 15-10, 15-12 in the Group C opener as Andhra Pradesh secured an easy 15-3, 15-2 win over Madhya Pradesh in the Group D opener.
The day also witnessed Manipur U-19 Boys opening Group B campaign with a 15-4, 15-2 win over Andhra Pradesh.
In the Group A opening match staged earlier, Bihar defeated Madhya Pradesh 15-6, 15-5 before Assam beat Punjab 15-9, 15-11 in another Group A match later in the day.
In another Group B match, Tamil Nadu beat Rajasthan by 2-1 sets (17-14, 11-15, 15-8) .
In a Group C match staged today, Odisha sealed an easy 15-3, 15-9 win over Telangana as Kerala pulled off a 15-11, 17-16 win over CBSE in the Group D opening match.
