Imphal, March 02 2025: Manipur Wrestling Association (MWA) has announced that eligible wrestlers from the state can participate in the upcoming Federation Cup (senior age group), organised by Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) .

The event is slated to take place at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, from March 8-9, 2025, featuring competitions in Free Style (FS), Greco Roman (GR), and Women's Wrestling (WW) .

Wild card entries from Manipur have been granted in specific weight categories based on performances at the 2024 Senior National Wrestling Championship.

Eligible categories include FS 57kg, GR 55kg, and WW 53kg & 65 kg .

Participants must cover travel costs, but WFI provides free food and lodging (March 7-9) .

Interested wrestlers should contact MWA's general secretary (8414863252) or state coach M Muhindro Singh (7005747302) by February 3, 2025, 12 pm .
