Futsal: Poloi FC crush KIYC as ABA and SSC secure narrow wins

Imphal, February 01 2025: Poloi FC enjoyed an easy day, while ABA and SSC triumphed in closely contested matches in Saturday's fixtures of the 4th Inter Club Futsal Tournament 2024-25 at KIYC Artificial Turf Ground.

Poloi FC romped past KIYC 17-2 in a one-sided match.

Paringanba was in exceptional form, netting eight goals, while Mangalsana added five.

Basudeba contributed a brace, and Nelson and Richardson each found the back of the net once.

KIYC's consolation goals came courtesy of Ishak Khan and Hamid.

Meanwhile, ABA secured a dramatic 9-8 win over MIUFC in a thrilling contest .

Md Sarfarash and Md Sohail Khan each scored twice, while Mustak Md, Md Rahamad, Anjim Ali, and Zahir Khan contributed a goal apiece, complemented by an own goal.

On the opposing side, MIUFC's Livingstone and Gunajit recorded hat-tricks, Roshan added a brace, and Deny, Jack, and Yunus each netted a goal in a valiant effort.

In another closely fought encounter, SSC edged past ESU with an 8-7 victory.

Loyumba led the charge with four goals, while Rauf registered a brace, and K Soyet and Azumal each added one to secure the win.

Despite Lamjing M's impressive five-goal performance for ESU, supported by Md Muhadish's goal and an own goal, his side fell just short.
