Imphal, May 31 2009: As the 1st State Level Men and Women Open Hockey Tournament, 2009 organised by the Super Sporting Association (SSA), Charangpat at the ground of Charangpat High School, entered its eleventh day, MEIRAA and SLO played the drawn match and SSA beat PHAM in women's category while SEYO beat SSA and HU beat MPSC in men's matches.

The first match was played between MEIRAA and SLO, Bishnupur for women's category.

The match concluded draw with score positions 2-2 for both teams.

Both teams played the match in a very competitive way.As they played the match with alsmot equal skills and tactics, they found it hard to dominate over one another.

The two goals of MEIRAA were scored by its players N Inakhunbi and S Loibi.

Inakhunbi scored her goal in the 21st minute of the match while Loibi registered her goal in the 35th minute.

On the other hand, L Bijeta and Sh Ashalata scored the two goals of SLO.

Bijeta scored her goal in the 39th minute while Ashalata striked her goal in the 49th minute of the match.

In the second match of women's category, SSA, Charangpat beat PHAM, Yaiskul 5-1 and won the match.

The match was dominantly played by the players of SSA throughout the match.

They registered five goals against PHAM in the match.

Against their five goals, PHAM players could scored only one goal against SSA.

The solitary goal of PHAM was scored by its player Ng Priya in the 45th minute of the match.

Meanwhile, the five goals of SSA were scored by S Roshini, M Sapana, L Pushparani, N Jhansirani and S Sana.

They scored one goal each against PHAM in the match.

Roshini scored her goal in the very 1st minute of the match.

Sapana, Pushparani, Janshirani and Sana scored their respective goals in the 26th, 37th, 32nd and 49th minute of the match.

In the meantime, SEYO beat host SSA 3-0 in men's first match today.

SEYO players dominantly played the match.

SSA players found it hard to tackle the players of SEYO.

Ksh Umashanker alone scored the three goals of SEYO in the 24th, 42nd and 46th minutes of the match.

The second match was won by Hockey Union after defeating MPSC -A 4-2.N Jilele of HU scored three goals in the 34th, 44th and 53rd minutes of the match while M Rishikesh striked one goal in the 55th minute.

On the other hand, S Ruby alone scored the two goals of MPSC.

He scored the two goals in the 12th and 46th minutes of the match.
