State Archery C'ship : Lingjelthoibi dominates Senior Indian Round events

Imphal, September 28 2026: S Lingjelthoibi of BCAC produced a dominating performance to seal both individual and 30m x 30m event titles as the 36th Senior State Archery Championship, 2026 began today at RCC ground, Khuman Lampak.

S Lingjelthoibi of BCAC and Elangbam Anju of LMLCC were neck and neck in the Individual competition with both scoring 5 points but S Lingjelthoibi enjoyed slight edge in the tiebreaker finishing (9,8) nearer to the bulls-eye.

L Rojina of KMAC was placed third in this event.

Lingjelthoibi meanwhile amassed 657 points to finish on top of the 30m x 30m event followed by M Lanchenbi of NSA with 646 points and H Roshina of AAC with 644 points.

Shilheiba Leitanthem of LMLCC meanwhile captured the Indian Round individual title for men beating Md Amir Arshad Khan of BCAC 7-3 in the final.

Ch Bison of KMAC finished third in this event.

Meanwhile in the men's 30m x 30m event, Md Amir Arshad Khan secured 668 points to seal the pole position as H Hemjit of LMLCC scored 663 points to finish second and Shilheiba Leitanthem recorded 659 points to finish third.
