SHADOW, THAU prevail in MNCA Women's U-15 One Day Trophy

Imphal, February 06 2025: SHADOW and THAU registered wins in their league round matches of the 2nd MNCA Womens U-15 One Day Trophy 2024-25 on Thursday.

SHADOW triumphed over PTRC by 60 runs in a low-scoring contest at THAU Ground.

Batting first, SHADOW were dismissed for 91 in 18.2 overs, with Hanglem Malemnganbi contributing the highest score of 20.Laitonjam Silky spearheaded PTRC's bowling effort, claiming 3 wickets, while Laitonjam Benita, Laishram Bigyapati, and Laitonjam Linthoi each took 1 wicket.

Despite their modest total, SHADOW's bowlers put on an exceptional performance, dismissing PTRC for just 31 in 12.5 overs.

Sagatpam Henthoibi and Chandarn Priyadasni each took 3 wickets, while Victoria Thokchom and Moirangthem Bebenao contributed 2 wickets apiece, ensuring a commanding victory.

Meanwhile, THAU emerged victorious by 4 wickets against PCC at PCC Ground in Mayaikoibi.

PCC, choosing to bat, posted a total of 220 /6, with significant contributions from Ningthoisana Thoudam (70), Okram Yashica (61), and Nongthombam Langlenthoibi (33) .

In response, THAU chased down the target in 27.2 overs, finishing with 221/6.Robeni Usham was the standout performer for THAU, remaining unbeaten on 88, with valuable support from Thoithoibi Ahongshangbam (29) and Surangini Kangabam (21).Konjengbam Nonibala led the bowling attack for THAU, taking 3 wickets.
