MFC, LMLCC split points in Samaram Trophy State Open Football Tournament

Imphal, April 15 2025: MFC (Sangaiyumpham) and LMLCC (Langmeidong) played out a 2-2 draw in the Samaran Trophy 3rd State Level Open Football Tournament, organised by Samaram FC, at Samara playground on Tuesday.

Amir opened the scoring for MFC in the 11th minute with a composed finish, but LMLCC responded through Rajesh, who restored parity in the 27th minute.

Amir struck again just before halftime, netting his second in the 36th minute to reclaim the lead for MFC .

However, LMLCC fought back once more, with Jenish slotting home the equaliser in the 48th minute.

Despite both sides pushing for a winner in the closing stages, neither could break the deadlock, ultimately settling for a hard-earned point apiece.
