PCC, PTRC win big iin 2nd MNCA Women's U-15 Trophy

Imphal, January 28 2025: PCC and PTRC notched up resounding victories in the 2nd MNCA Womens U-15 One Day Trophy 2024-25.on Tuesday.

PCC outclassed FORCE by 7 wickets at PCC Ground, Mayaikoibi.

The winning side skittled out the opposition for 122 in 24.2 overs, with Laishram, Anjali Devi shining with the ball by scalping 6 wickets, While Keithellakpam Katrina Devi took 2, with Hemam Lingjen and Ningthoisana Thoudam contributing 1 each.

PCC then needed 17.2 overs to achieve the target courtesy of Okram Yashica (29), Hemam Lingjen (20 not out), Keithellakpam Katrina (17), Laishram Anjali (15) and Nongthombam Langlenthoibi (14). In the other match, PTRC comfortably defeated MPA by 5 wickets at THAU Ground in Thangmeiband.

Choosing to bat first, MPA were restricted to 85/9 in 30 overs.

Laitonjam Benita led the bowling effort for PTRC with 3 wickets, while Laishram Bigyapati and Laitonjam Linthoi each took 2 wickets, and Laitonjam Purnima and Laishram Benika added 1 wicket apiece.

PTRC completed the chase in 20 overs, losing 5 wickets.

Laitonjam Linthoi Devi was the top scorer for PTRC with 21 runs.
