SFC, NFC, HLSYDO, Atinga reach 5-a-side football quarterfinals

Imphal, September 18 2024: Saturday FC, Nihan FC, HLSYDO and Atinga made it to the quarterfinals of the 1st State Level Kangjam Rajesh Memorial 5-a-side Open Football Tournament 2024 .

Saturday FC booked their place in the last eight after beating PSD in a penalty shootout.

The game went into penalty kicks after the two teams tied 3-3 at the end of regulation time.

In the shootout, Saturday FC prevailed 2-1 against their opponents.

Nihan FC edged past BSU-A 2-1 in their pre-quarterfinal match.

Siaud Mustaque and Muhammand scored in their triumph, while Salman netted the lone goal for BSU.

HLSYDO romped past BFC 4-1 on their way to the quarterfinals.

Boly, H Rohit, H Aninash and Bishal got their names on the scoresheet in HLSYDO's win.

S Meiraba scord the consolation goal for BFC.

Atinga too won by an identical 4-1 margin against their opponents SEYC.

A double from P Raj and one each from Sobhachandra and P Herojit propelled Atinga to the quarterfinals.
