Imphal, January 15 2025: Security forces apprehended one Ramesh Kumar (37), son of Baban Sah of Vijay Nagar, Kanglatongbi along with 2.037 kg of opium around 3:30 pm on Tuesday.

According to a police report, Ramesh was found in possession of the narcotics substance during the checking of his Tata Yodha vehicle (MN01/AA-5308) at the T Khullen check-post in Senapati district.

He was heading to Senapati from Imphal, police said, adding that a case has been registered at Senapati police station for investigation.
